are boys oblivious? help please

this is directed more towards teenagers who use snapchat (AGH modern flirting is so annoying). we have had multiple small conversations about music - he mainly initiates. these have been happening over snap after i send him a snap of my car playing a certain song or whatever. i thought i was being so flirty and bold when i sent him a dual cam picture of a song titled “thinking about you” and my face avoiding eye contact with the camera and smiling. he saved it in chat and started a conversation, but it was about the artist 😔😔. i literally thought it was the perfect sign to send to him smh i think he’s just oblivious. any advice on how to send a similar sign that might get his attention this time?
