Are there any cricketers who you feel frustrated with after taking an interest in their career?
What I mean aren't guys like Shane Bond, who had a tragic end to what should have been a much better career. But guys who have played for quite some time yet you still feel off about.
Mine are 1. Thisara Perera, a player of big moments, but very little else, has the priviledge of hitting Ashwin for the winning six in 2014, plus a great cameo in 2011 WC Final with one more all timer vs New Zealand. But his bowling almost always felt off to me, like he was waiting to get thrashed, and his batting genuinely felt like a worse version of Afridi. His dropping of a dolly of Sarfaraz Ahmed in a virtual quarterfinal for the 2017 CT makes me physically retch. And he was a cunt on the field who thought he deserved captaincy and was a prick in the dressing room apparently, and on SM
- Mustafizur Rahman-Still my favorite Bangladesh player,but despite a very good ODI record, is predictable to me on TV, let alone international level batsmen. I miss the 2017 Offspinner at 140. Still good on suitable pitches though.
