Lack of Marketing Jobs?

Just wondering if anyone here is also in marketing/communications and is struggling to find a job? I’m entry level working contract now, but the contract is almost up, and they told me at the start there’s no possibility of full time. This contract role is the first thing I’ve had post college. Anytime I look for anything full time in the marketing field, all that comes up are door to door sales jobs, retail jobs, or senior level/director marketing roles. Anyone else experiencing this?
