What do you say when people ask what happens if you eat gluten?

How have you guys been answering this question? I really never know how to answer. I was on a second date last night and my date was being really sweet and just trying to understand more. He asked if he would need to give me CPR if I had gluten lol but how have you guys been answering this without having to get into the whole diarrhea thing or being super ominous or talking about stomach cancer. Help a girl out🙏
