Buying my first 100k car

I was approved and the sales guy asked me how long do I plan to keep the car.

I’ve bought plenty cars in my Time but nothing over 50k and never heard this question before. I’ve always bought new cars with the intentions of keep them for 6-8yrs. Which has worked well for me

Is there a special way to handle 100k cars? Should I trade in at a certain time that will benefit me?
