Is hindi THAT bad?

Why do people hate on hindi so much on this sub? Like, I ain’t even offended, just curious. I live in Chennai, and in my school, out of the about 160 children in 10th, only 12 chose hindi. So it was more of a specialised class rather than just usual tomfoolery at the back bench. Mam ne Hume topi shukla ke dauran itna emotional kar diya tha bhai by god. And my first and ONLY girlfriend was during the time mam was teaching tatara vamiro, so that’s a plus point too there.
