What makes Emmanuel Navarrete's style work?
I recently rewatched both Valdez fights, and I love watching Navarrete fight but I have no clue what I'm watching. When I watch Navarrete I feel like I'm watching someone who fights throwing almost nothing but wide hooks and uppercuts that scrape the ground on their way to his opponent. But it works! It's fun to watch, especially the way he throws punches in bunches, but for someone who's doing so well it goes against conventional wisdom on what works (straight punches, build off the jab, etc)
He does seem to make great reads and he angles off beautifully, but what would you all say makes him good?
