Izuku doesn't get OFA, but everything is mostly fine.
I find it stupid that the whole country would go in flames just because one guy wasn't in a specific time/place. It makes everyone else feel like an extra. How about we go for a good alternative ending?
Midoriya never crossed paths with sludge villain and remained a civilian. Ochako doesn't suffer from skill issue during entrance exam. All Might took a good look at 1A and 1B (he wanted freshmen to have the most time training OFA), picked one of those guys (say, Tsuyu) and called Gran Torino because Asui had a bad feeling about going 100% immediately.
She manages to restrain Shigaraki when he runs at her in USJ. Her blunt nature causes her to call Shouto's self limitation irrational. She still loses to him because frogs are afraid of cold. Easerhead arranges it so Iida can't go to Hosu by destroying invitations from there. Todoroki goes to Hosu instead and finds a Nomu who has Geten's quirk. Some people die because Shouto gave that guy free ice, which causes the dual haired boy to get his head out of his ass.
Kouta dies in Summer Camp and Katsuki gets kidnapped as usual. Toga gets an OFA boosted tongue slap to the face. People listen to Tsuyu's advice to not chase after League because she's more respected due to her achievements. Heroes rescue Bakugou, with Eraserhead being on scene to prevent the last minute teleportation. AFO and LOV get overwhelmed and die.
Overhaul arc is same as usual except Tsuyu doesn't feel the need to prove herself to Sir Nighteye. She says if he doesn't want her around, she can leave. Later on she scolds All Might for sending to a guy who just wanted her to surrender OFA.
Midoriya lives a fulfilling life as a firefighter, saving people in a way that he can. Asui becomes the new symbol of peace. A few folks die along the way, but hey, canon timeline wasn't perfect either. All we had to was make people smarter in a way that doesn't require one specific person.
