Why aren’t there more beantown weed events?

Title is p much self explanatory. If I want to go have a fun weekend outing that is alcohol related I have tons of options but if I want to smoke weed its either go to a trail somewhere, smoke at home, or in some alley behind a bar or something. There need to be more cannabis events in boston I feel like. Anyone else agree?
