Experiences with Multiplayer?

Hey, just a little question out of curiosity: what do you say about playing BG3 with multiple people?
I was never able to try that due to my friends with whom I usually play games not having / wanting to play the game so I never tried it out but it sounds like fun... but also like a lot of chaos. So I just wanted to ask for some experiences playing BG3 with multiple people / friends. Is it even more fun than usual? Or how different is the gameplay then?
