How to get mentally ready during last moments of pregnancy?

I'm currently 36w 2d pregnant with my first child. Although I've managed to get a lot done in preparation, I've been feeling the need to mentally prepare for what's to come since this is my 1st time giving birth. Especially those past few days, more than ever, I can't stop thinking about the fact that I need to be mentally ready to welcome my baby.

If you've experienced this feeling, I'd love to hear about it as I'm sure it'd make me feel less alone in this sensitive time. And your advice and ideas to help ease/set my mind are welcome and appreciated.
