Short or Long hair on women?

Hi, I’m a 24 year old woman seeking some input.

This is just a curious question. I’ve had beautiful long hair my entire life and have always received tons of compliments on my hair. I’ve always loved my hair. My current partner is the first person I’ve ever met who always suggest to cut my hair short. I’ve never taken offense to it, as I love my partner deeply, but I’ve noticed he has continued to mention it over the years (almost 3 now) and honestly I’ve begun to wonder how most men feel about long VS short hair on women.

Also, I did, for the first time ever, cut my hair (it did need a big trim). I didn’t go super short, but I did go to around my upper chest area which is the shortest it’s ever been for me. He insists he loves it and wants me to go even shorter…

So anyways, I’m just curious, what do you guys think?
