Does my company have to pay my unused vacation time?
Hello everyone,
I live in Arkansas on the border of MO. I work in MO, but live in AR and my company's headquarters is in South Carolina. I'm not sure what laws my company has to follow in terms of unpaid vacation. I have over two weeks of unused time off at the time of submitting my two weeks I accrued over 2 years here. My company is notorious for not paying people. Contractors, vendors, etc. So I feel like if they can get out of this they are going to.
Can anyone help me understand which laws apply? If I do have any claim to the unused hours, what to do when they refuse to pay or if they just ignore my request? (Most probable course of action.)
