Please help, I’m a difficult case!

I’m in my 30s I’ve been an anime fan since I was 8 and met my bff whose older brother showed us anime. I used to watch whatever made it to the US that I could get my hands on but now I’m SO picky. I like what I like but it’s so hard to find things I’ll love.

My partner finally got me to watch Attack on Titan & we have 8 episodes left so I’m trying to find what we’ll watch next.

I love shoujo manga but it doesn’t translate well to anime in my opinion, my reading pace is much faster than the slowww pace that the anime ends up having. My favorite anime’s are pictured here, I love comedy, slice of life, and kind of girlie pop stuff? I’ve seen most of the big ones—AoT now, My Hero, Demon Slayer, GinTama—I like them but I don’t LOVE them?

Really I prefer manga but it’s nice to watch things with my partner but I’m strugglingggg to find things that really capture my attention right away. My favorite mangas are Yotsuba&, Azumanga Daioh, anything by Ai Yazawa, Natsume’s book of friends, Sign of Affection, Furare Girl, Laid Back Camp—things like that.

I’ve tried so many, I’ve looked at so many lists of recommendations. Strugglinggggggg! I hope someone can help! Thank you!
