Help recommend an offline Netflix Solution

Hi All,

I work away from home a fair bit so end up spending quite a few nights in hotels. To fill the time I like to watch Netflix, however most hotels I end up in have terrible WiFi, therefore downloaded content is a must.

I'm currently using my partners old laptop to download at home and watch via HDMI into the hotel room TV but it's 12+ years old and very close to death. I've had a look around and am struggling to find a cheap (£150 or less) substitute which will last.

Currently it looks like I need a tablet or low end laptop but I feel like I'm missing something.

Any help greatly appreciated , any questions and I'll respond with clarifications.
