1980, 84 and 85 were the best years

In 1984, Funky Town met the charts. Meat Loaf and Blondie starred in Roadie Joan Jett, Journey, The Pretenders, Michael Jackson and Prince were at their peak but they had a big ways to go. The Police, Abba and Blondie “especially Abba” were at the end of their peak. Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks, Steve Miller Band and Donna Summer’s peak was close to an end but had very little ways to go. Friday The 13th was released.

In 1984 and 85, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Lionel Richie, U2, Scorpions, Bonnie Tyler and Kenny Loggins were at their peak but everyone of them except Madonna were close to the end of their peak. Footloose, The Goonies, The Breakfast Club and Back To The Future was released.
